Skilled weavers create this rug in the Tibetan style, using a centuries-old hand-knotting technique that results in an extra-fine weave. Inspired by a wrought iron gate, the raised pattern is traced out in shimmering silk on a field of exceptionally soft, dense high-mountain wool.
