Flourishes drawn from an 18th century damask are recreated in hand-knotted, sheared pile against a sumak-style flatwoven background to create a rug of extraordinary elegance and visual drama. Pure wool dyed in a palette of pale blue and sand, it’s as soft to the eye as it is underfoot.
